I remember, as a little kid, that as soon as we were tall enough to reach the counter, we were required to start the coffee before we came to wake my parents. I was probably 4 or so, so my brothers were 'helping' me at 2 and 1.
My parents were geniuses.

ReplyDeleteI KNOW, right? So much of my childhood makes sense as I get older. I remember my mom showing me exactly how many scoops of coffee to add to the filter.
ReplyDeleteI also think I first learned to tell time when my mom showed me 6 AM on the clock and told me we were absolutely not allowed to wake them before that time on Christmas morning.
